This year from September 30th till October 2nd, the first INSTINCT training workshop will take place at the Institute of Navigation in Stuttgart, Germany. The course covers basic and advanced usage of the software, as well as theory lessons of GNSS and INS basics.
The first day covers the necessary theory about GNSS, inertial sensors and integrated navigation in order to start working with the software. This is followed by a first introduction into the INSTINCT software and installation on the participants machines.
The second day continues with theory on state estimation. Participants will learn how to use INSTINCT to process sensor data, compare and analyze the results. The focus will be on usage of already implemented nodes in INSTINCT, such as SPP, RTK, IMU Integrator, Loosely- and tightly-coupled INS/GNSS sensor fusion.
The last day will start with sensor simulation in INSTINCT. Moreover participants will implement their first nodes in INSTINCT showcasing how to extend the software with their own algorithms. For this session a basic understanding of C++ is required. Concluding the day, a specialized set of algorithms will be used by the participants in order to showcase more advanced features of INSTINCT.
Due to space and personal limits, the workshop will be limited to a maximum of 50 people, assigned in order of registration. So save your spot right now below on this page.
